Aðalfundur foreldrafélagsins
Foreldrafélag Hvaleyrarskóla heldur aðalfund sinn fimmtudaginn 7. september kl 19:30 í aðalsal skólans. Farið verður yfir störf nýliðins skólaárs og línur lagðar fyrir nýhafið skólaár. Þá verður kosin stjórn félagsins. Allir áhugasamir foreldrar/forráðamenn nemenda við skólann eru hvattir til að mæta.Ásamt aðalfundi verður fyrirlestur “Digital Parenting 101” í boði foreldrafélagsins um netöryggi barna þar sem tækifæri gefst til að skilja betur netheiminn sem börnin okkar umgangast daglega og hvað við sem foreldrar/forráðamenn getum gert til að best tryggja öryggi barna í þessum nútíma raunveruleika. Hvaleyrarskóli's Parents' Association will hold its annual general meeting on Thursday, 7th September at 19:30 in the main hall of the school. The association's work over the last academic year will be reviewed, as well as setting the agenda for the current academic year. The association's board members will also be selected. All parents/guardians of students attending the school who may be interested in joining the association are encouraged to attend.As well as our general meeting, the Parents’ Association has commissioned a lecture entitled Digital Parenting 101 on cyber security for children, where we will have an opportunity to learn about the online world in which our children live in their daily lives and how we as parents/guardians can best ensure our children’s safety in this new technological reality. The lecture will be both in Icelandic and English. All the slides will be in English. The lecturers will give the presentation mainly in Icelandic but encourage questions in both languages and information will be provided in both languages. The agenda for the lecture is as follows:1.
